Your Opinion Matters

GOH firmly believes that being involved in the communities in which we live and work is vitally important to our way of life.

Part of that involvement is being an active participant in the political process to promote better and safer roads, bridges and highways along with the modern infrastructure (electric, water, sewer, natural gas) that we depend on daily.

What To Say

To assist you with your communications to your legislators, here are some helpful hints:

  • Introduce yourself, where you live, where you work.
  • Explain specifically what piece of legislation you are concerned about.
  • Have specific reasons why you support or oppose this piece.
  • Remember to be polite, and courteous.
  • Don’t expect an answer right away. They need to consider your input.
  • Thank them for their time.

Thank you for taking the time to become involved.
