Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. is excited to announce that we will be hosting our 29th annual charity golf outing at White Deer Golf Course, Montgomery, PA on July 17th, 2021!

In 2020, due to COVID-19 we made the difficult decision to postpone our event. Prior to postponement, our Golf Committee solicited and received multiple beneficiary applications. 2020 beneficiaries were also selected. Out of respect to past participants we have decided to honor the beneficiaries that were selected last year as this year’s benefactors.
This year’s 2021 beneficiaries are:
Skills of Central PA is a non-profit health and human services organization providing services and support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities; behavioral health challenges; substance use disorders; and problem gambling. The organization was founded in 1960 in Bellefonte, PA, as a small day program to provide opportunities for people to have paid work, gain social skills, and become more independent in the community. Today, we offer services in seventeen counties throughout the region and employ more than 1,100 people in a variety of professional, clinical, and direct support roles. The YWCA has operated in Williamsport/Lycoming County for 127 years. Currently, we offer 2 programs, Wise Options & Liberty House. The YW has been operating the Wise Options program for 42 years. As of June 30, 2019, we served 1,069 survivors of domestic violence, 307 survivors of sexual violence and 247 victims of other violent crimes. 11,867 nights of shelter were provided to adults and children fleeing violent situations. Liberty House, is our homeless program for those trying to recover from addiction. For the same time period, we served 65 adults and 17 children. Both programs are unduplicated services in our community and serve some of the most at risk individuals. Our goal is to assist in helping them change their lives.
Susquehanna Health Foundation is the philanthropic arm of UPMC Susquehanna, an integrated health system in northcentral Pennsylvania including UPMC Williamsport Divine Providence, UPMC Muncy, UPMC Lock Haven; UPMC Wellsboro; UPMC Williamsport, and various off-site locations. Our network of experienced physicians, surgeons, and caregivers strive to provide clinically excellent health care through a wide range of services in a setting where your needs come first. Services include cancer care, cardiac care, orthopaedics, OB/GYN, neurology, home care & hospice, long-term care, and many more.
We provide emergency medical services to Halfmoon, Huston, Taylor and Worth Townships as well as the Port Matilda Borough. We also service a portion of Ferguson Township and Union Township.
- We provide emergency transportation to Mt. Nittany Medical Center.
- We provide standby services to the Port Matilda Fire Company.
- We provide standby services for youth football, high school football and State College gymnastics.
